Since 2009, flood and erosion of embankments have widely occurred with significant frequency, directly affecting the daily life, business at some local places in Ho Chi Minh city as well as western provinces, The Saigon Industry Corporation (CNS) has built “ uPVC sheet pile embankment project”

  • 03/2010, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee agreed to delegate CNS to conduct some pilot uPVC embankments to prevent erosion, flood tide at Go Dua Canal at Cau Ngang Canal in Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh city.
  • 06/2010, CNS finished 2 experimental projects at Linh Dong Ward in Thu Duc District.
  • 11/2010, after surveying 2 these projects, City Committee of the Party’s leader and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee  request CNS to built projects for producing uPVC sheet pile to construct important embankments in Ho Chi Minh city.

For these demand, CNS put forward a project to build a uPVC factory and invested an equipement line from Europe with 550 kg/h of productivity to supply market with 50km length of uPVC sheet pile annually.

To take over and handle this mission, CNS Thanh Phat Factory- a subsidiary Saigon Industry Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City was established. CNP’s main products are made from plastic and uPVC sheet pile is the most important one.
